Bursaries
Lorraine Mekwa BSc (2006) started the Baobab Bursary to assist students from
disadvantaged communities who have real potential to succeed.

“The baobab tree is a sign of life in some African countries, it provides shade and retreat, food and medicinal relief in the much needed harsh African conditions."

In the same way, the Baobab Bursary has been set up to give relief to academically and financially deserving students at the University of the Witwatersrand,

DonateYou have the power to enable them to live their dream and change their future, by giving them the financial resources needed for success.

At a cost of R30,000 a year for tuition, a group of 20 people would only have to pay about R125 a month to fund a student.

Any contribution, big or small, will make a huge difference to someone's life!
