Professor Loyisa Nongxa, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of Wits, was pleased to meet Kim McFarland,
COO, Investec Asset Management, during his London visit in September 2009. Kim, who holds BCom
and BAcc degrees, is a Wits graduate.
Professor Nongxa, Wits' VC and Principal, was delighted to meet with Barbara Bear and Alderman Michael
Bear, who has been elected Lord Mayor of London from 2010. During his London visit in September 2009, Professor Nongxa was welcomed by the couple who are both Wits graduates. Michael Bear holds a BSc (Civil Engineering) while Barbara Bear graduated with a BA degree.
